Our trial and return policy varies by product and is limited to our service area within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply and are detailed below.
Mattresses, Foundations, Metal Bed Frames & Bunkie Boards
Max allowed: 1 Mattress, 1 Foundation, and 1 Metal Bed Frame per household.
Shipping fees and optional in-home setup services are non-refundable.
You must use a mattress protector to keep your mattress in a suitable condition during your trial period, free from excessive stains, tears, odors, or soiling.

Policies, Requirements & Limitations
45-Day Minimum Trial for Mattresses: The trial for your mattress or topper starts from the day of delivery. Adjusting to a new mattress, especially a SolaPedic one, can take time. It may feel different initially due to its unique firmness and support, potentially causing discomfort at first. We ask customers to use the mattress or topper for at least 45 days before considering a return. Post 30 days, if you decide to return, we’ll help with the process.
One Trial per Product Type: Each household is eligible for only one return per product type (mattress, topper, base, pillows, protectors, sheets). Returning or exchanging a product concludes your trial for that type, and no further trials will be available for it in your household. The policy applies household-wide, based on your name, shipping and billing address, and payment method.
Trials Exclusive to Direct Purchases: Only products bought directly from SolaPedic qualify for our trial program. Purchases through other retailers are not eligible.
Service Area Restrictions: We only offer services like pickups, returns, exchanges, and refunds within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Mattresses outside this area must be returned at the owner’s cost and risk.
Donation-Ready Condition Required: To be eligible for return, mattresses and bedding must be suitable for donation, meaning free from stains, tears, strong odors, or soiling, with law tags intact. We need photos for verification. Returns may be refused if the item is deemed unsuitable for donation.
Correct Mattress Use is Essential: The mattress should be used on a supportive foundation or frame. Specifics include a minimum number of legs based on mattress size and spacing between slats for slatted frames. Use of a boxspring may void the trial and warranty.
Mandatory Mattress Rotation: Rotate your mattress head-to-toe once a month for the first six months, and then every other month thereafter. Not doing so voids the trial.
Open Mattress Box Within 30 Days: Unbox your mattress within 30 days of receiving it. Failure to do so voids the trial.
No Returns on Free and Final Sale Items: Items received for free or marked as final sale are not returnable or eligible for the trial.
Non-Refundable Fees: Financing, shipping, in-home delivery and setup fees, as well as shipping surcharges for Alaska and Hawaii, and Route shipping insurance fees after delivery, are non-refundable.
Refund Process: Refunds, processed via the original payment method, occur within 1-3 business days after we receive your return, but bank processing times vary. We cannot refund to a different card or issue checks.
Lost or Damaged Items: Report lost or damaged products promptly as per our guidelines. Late reports void your trial and warranty.
Return Verification Deadline: All returns must be received and confirmed before your trial ends or within 30 days of your initial return request, whichever is sooner. Delays or failures in verification will lead to closure of the return request.
